Daniel, I'm sure I've said this before but ARE YOU MY SON IN DISGUISE? lol I've washed, USB pens, passports, ID cards, bank notes and his Air Cadet book several times because he throws his stuff in the machine for washing and doesn't empty the pockets. Alternatively, he goes to Barcelona, gets doped in a club and ends up having his pockets emptied for him on the beach! lol Daisy

Thank you Daniel. I learn something everyday. Grandson has tried to explain an i-pod to me. Not there yet but on my way :-)))

That's what you call a close thing Daniel!! I hope you will make a back up copy asap before something else happens.....my son lost all his college work when he lost his USB pen, despite the fact we had been warning him for weeks to back it all up...silly boy! Yvette

USB pen is a storage device. A modern floppy disk. My one is 125MB and has the best part of 1 years work on. Not my only copy but the most recent with about 2 weeks more stuff on than my back ups.

The majority of the most recent versions of my college work was on my USB pen which was in my coat. The coat has just enjoyed a spin round the washing machine and thank God, the USB pen still works!
