not renewing membership

Hi guys my membership expires in a few days and I have decided not to bother renewing. Although I have mert some lovely people on here, the idea was to find family and it's not happened! One whole year and i found one very distant relation! If you want to keep in touch, please pm me and i will give you my e-mail address. Hi On Friday I received a letter from hubbys cousin who he hadn't seen for 40 years! I had found her through this site her sister in laws sister in law from USA put her on her tree 2 days before my membership was due to expire. So I would say don't give up hope :-) Penny This site does have it's faults at times but at least it doesn't break the bank. |

HI Penny, yep i just realised that the only place my whole tree is together is here and currently i can't export it. I have until the 5th to decide what to do! |

sad to see anybody leave. For me it has been well worth the subscription. The next big thing for all of us will be the 1911 census then we may well connect to those missing rellies. Good luck with what ever you do instead!!!!! Gloria |

Good luck Melanie. I have been searching for my grandparents for 20 years.This site doesn't cost much so i think i'll stay awhile and keep fingers crossed. Very difficult on the key-board lol Budgie Looked hard at your list but didn't find any familiar names boo hoo! Mau x |

Hi Melanie I don't add much to threads but find this site very helpful with tracing rellies. Don't give up as I have only recently made some positive contacts and I have been a member since the first month of the site starting up, I let my membership lapse but rejoined and am glad I did. Good luck with your searching, it will happen, just be patient :-) Linda x |
