I really must tell you all about a complete stranger in Ashford in Kent, and thank him again for the fact I still have a car and a handbag..... daft tart that I am, I left my car door wide open on Xmas Eve, handbag and keys still in it..... unpacking goodies and forgot to shut it and lock the car and a complete stranger came and knocked on Grandma's door to tell me!!! The kindness of strangers never ceases to amaze me and give me faith in the fact that the world isn't all bad!! xx |

Pleased everything worked out so well. Most people are kind, it's the selfish ones who put us on our guard. Love Anne |

About this time two years ago I had a knock on the door - A man asked if Mrs Hughes lived here and when I said yes, he showed me her handbag and asked if it was hers. He had found it on the floor of a car park in town and it had all her credit cards, about £50 and all the other essential stuff. Apparently she had put it on top of her car while she put the shopping in and then driven off - the man had nearly run it over. When she got home she had no idea that it was missing. |

I thought you had gone all Blanche DuBois on us there Miss Pink - lol but well done that guy - I am a great believer in good deeds having a ripple effect - anyone seen the film 'Pay it Forward' (apart from the ending it was a fab movie) |

What a gem of a man! A wonderful young man rang me some months ago at around midnight to ask me if I knew the owner of the purse in which he'd found my PinkSahara card and lots of cash. It was my daughter's purse which she'd lost in the city centre earlier that evening and he delivered it to one of the colleges for her to collect. Some people are extraordinarly kind and honest. Yesterday when I was walking up to the pub which is over two miles. A man stopped knowing there was no buses and asked me if I wanted a lift, so I jumped in lol! Davex |

Try to remember that there are a lot of nice people out there as opposed to the others. Keep yourself safe. A stranger is a friend you have not yet met. Happy New Year to all Gerry |
