Your problem seems to be your birthday. Change the date for next year, and spread the presents out. Granny

Why don't you ask them to get you a pre-paid pamper day to use when you like? They do them in W. H. Smiths, Argos etc, so all you'd get would be the voucher on the day, but maybe in a month or so after Xmas you may be ready for a little pampering? :0) Joan xxxx

Anyone else have this problem? I just do not know what I want my Hubby and children to buy me for Christmas. Well I think the two eldest have got their presents for me, but as it is my Birthday on Christmas Eve also, I am under a lot of stress from them all as to what to ask for. I just do not know what I would like. I did very well last year as it was also my big 50th Birthday. Laptop, Digital Camera, and Sewing machine were all bought for me from Hubby, along with other lovely things. I never ask for much, I dont buy loads of perfumes, cosmetics or clothes etc. So I think really I would just love a nice combined present to be cash to do as I please. But everyone says a big NO, as they know full well I would spend it on the house. I have asked for a bottle of Dooleys and some slippers so far. Did think about the UB40 Greatest hits, but as they were so C***p when we saw them last week I have said no way do I want the CD. I am just not worried about presents, I am just so chuffed that for the very first time in my life I am going to spend Christmas away from the norm. Going to the Midlands where I come from. I have not to do any food shopping, and have not got to cook a meal at all over the Christmas period. We are booked into a hotel for three nights, down in the midlands to be with my two eldest children. I have have not celebrated Christmas with them for ten years, due to living too far away. Christmas day and Boxing day our meal all booked, in two different places. I will have ALL four of my Grandchildren with me. My youngest Daughter is going down on Wednesday, but Son does not want to leave his girlfriend so is staying up here and 'dog sitting' He is spending Christmas day with his girlfriends family and cooking a meal Boxing Day for his girlfriend at home. I just dread going back home. Have warned him if anything is damaged or in mess he will be out on his ear. Sorry to waffle but i just want everyone to know how much I am looking forward to Christmas after feeling very low for a few months. Jenny. xxxx
