A dress which I knitted myself (very slack stitches), it was a mini when I went out, and a midi when I got back. Granny

In the '70s I wore really awfully wide flairs with tops which had wide horizontal bands of colours, red, yellow, green, etc My girlfriend (now wife of 30 years...!) had a pair of Hot Pants...!

Dee, Thankfully they didn't last very long - I think Pam only had the one pair....! Now, what about our haircuts.....!? My wedding photo is awful, and that is after I had had it cut the day before....!

Having my hair cut short when I was 14 because all my friends were having theirs cut. It might have suited them, but it looked awful on me because my hair is so fine and straight. It just clung to my head like a bathing cap and looked ridiculous, no matter how long I spent trying to get it to curl a bit or how much gloop I put on it to give it 'body'. Ever since then, I've stuck to having long hair, and that's how it's gonna stay! CB >*|*<

OMG - how long have you got? Hot pants combined with fluorescent pink socks - arrgh White cotton Oxford bags over pale blue flowery knickers - at the ice rink. I might have got away with that if I was a better skater On the transparent theme. A Dot Perkins orange bikini. Still with swim wear - a denim look bikini which was not intended to get wet cos it stretched amazingly Those horrible shoes that you wrap the laces around your calves - either they are so tight they cut off your circulation or they are slack enough to fall round your ankles after walking 50 yards I could go on and on

False nails has it for me. Once when I wore them had to go for a test and have tubes put down my nose, (while sitting up). Very uncomfortable. Had to squeeze the chair arms really tight. Poor girl giving the test also freaked when she saw several fingernails on my lap. PMSL. Deb
