When I first posted on the board It was under my real name Glynis Preston. My first thread was Spooked, where I met some lovely people called The Loft Hatchers, and they made me feel so welcome, thankyou. Then I met Gray through my post on the birth of my precious Grandbaby Amy, at the same time she had posted about her little Grandson who was very sick, and we became friends. Next was my virtual family, my adopted Dad Howie who has been so very kind to me. BC my Mother Superior, who says she isn't Motherly but shows me as much care as any real Mum could. My sisters every one of them so much fun and so precious, and they know who they are.. Then Hatpin.....oh boy did we have fun.....as I wobbled across the board with him at my heal, wobbling just as much on his little 2 and half legs. My next sparring partner was Pipsquak, I became his notorious stalker. Just to settle that.....it was a good fun game on and off the board, never any more than a laugh. Fun and equal because we both gave as good as we got. But it was never any more than a laugh. However I did become very fond of him and considered him a good friend, and if any one went against him, even at her own expense lemon swivelled on a sixpence to go back and defend him , and still would. One of the the things lemon loved was the agelessness of the board as she tottered about in her stilletos. I hope though if ever anyone was sad That Lemon took time to give them a hug. If ever she hurt or offended anyone...she is sorry. But lately the feeling of agelessness has gone, and with it some of Lemons enthusiasm.....even a wrinkled toothless aging tart has feelings. Oh Glynis, what's brought this on, hun? I look forward to Part Two anyway. I know at this moment you've removed yourself from replying, but I understand you can still read the messages. So - I also look forward to your return. By the way, I was nearly a Glynis myself (after Glynis Johns, so Mum and Dad tell me), but the 'y' got moved a couple of spaces, and there was a vowel change, then hey presto! There I was. I've had a lovely email from her and she's fine. Gwynne
