Sue this is the Printer that PC World didn't know what to charge for am I correct? Can I ask some questions please? what make is it? how much did you end up paying? Do you know how much the refill cartridges are as my printer only takes the most expensive it means when I buy the colour and the B&W it coasts almost the same as the printer did!!! LOL. That sounds brilliant love the idea of the little screen. Pat x |

Sue, Well done. Pat, We always buy our cartridges on-line, never from PC World as they are a rip off. If you have not yet found a supplier then Google 'printer cartridges' or better still 'hp printer cartridges' (or whatever make of printer you have. You will find that you may need to use two different suppliers for colour and b&w cartridges as often one charges more for one of them. This is not normally a problem as postage is free, generally, so smaller orders don't cost you more. |

I bought a cheap Lexmark, and cartidges cost more than the printer. They subsidise the printers so they can make money on the ink. I buy from Choice Stationery. I think they are in somerset. I buy their own cartridges. They are much cheaper and more reliable than genuine HP ones, \which seem to stop working half way through. (I had one HP that din't have any yellow ink in when new, from PC World) David |

Thanks for that Peter, I am going to try & buy another Printer as like Davo I bought a Lexmark & the cartridges cost a fortune :-( Some printers you can use the cheap copies they sell but not this one, typical. I am going to check them all out so I know how much the spare cartidges cost before I pay for the printer as I don't want to get stung again. I shall wait in anticipation for Sue's technical assessment of what sounds like her new Rolls Royce of printers lol. Pat x |
