Yes that was the accident. At Elsenham. Such a terrible tragedy and I feel so sad for those families. Missing the meet is of no consequence at all and I'm just counting my blessings and thinking of those young girls. Daisy |

Apparently the two teenage girls were crossing at a crossing from one side to another to catch a train and were hit. Tragic accident . |

Sorry you didn't get to go to the meet-up Daisy. Just heard on the news that two teenage girls were killed on a level crossing in Essex, I take it that was maybe why the trains were re routed. So tragic. Bet wishes to your Mum Linda, hope she's feeling better soon. Christine |

Hope your Mum gets better soon, Linda. Sorry about your ruined journey, Daisy - as you say, of little consequence compared to the grief of those involved in the tragedy. I'm feeling poorly today - just wondering whether a coffee will make me feel better or worse! Have a good day whatever you're all doing. Sheila x |

Hi Linda I am sorry to hear your Mum has pneumonia I know what it is like & it's really horrible. She is in the best place & that is good news she is responding well to the treatment. Keep your pecker up, I wish her a speedy recovery. Ding Dong Daisy, What a shame you couldn't be there today, I suppose it wasn't to be. Still you have us here, hey? I suppose all the lovely yummy grub is all gone BC and Nell polished it off pretty quickly. Never mind I shall have my lettuce & tomato sarnie I'm too lazy to do anything else for lunch. Pat x |
