Helen ,, that is for shop bought or ready made one;; if you go to Library for a book on baking in Micro you will find recipe to make in there and then just do re-heat as stated;; Babs |

Serves 4-6 Power Setting...Full Total Cooking Time....8 minutes 3oz fresh white breadcrumbs 3oz plain flour pinch of ground mace pinch of ground nutmeg pinch of ground ginger pinch of ground cinnamon 3oz shredded suet 2oz soft brown sugar 2oz castor sugar 2oz candied peel 3oz of currants 2oz sultanas 5oz raisins 11/2oz blanched almonds 1 small cooking apple grated rind and juice of 1/2 lemon 1 tablespoon of brandy 1 large egg (beaten) 3 tablespoons brown ale or stout 1 tablespoon milk 11/2 tablespoons black treacle In a large mixing bowl mix together ALL the dry ingredients, the almonds,apple and lemon rind. Mix the brandy with the egg,brown ale or stout,milk and treacle. Addto the dry ingredients to give a mixture with a soft dropping consistency. Cover and leave overnight or for 6-8 hours. Turn into a greased 2pint pudding basin. Cover loosely with cling film and cook for 8 minutes. Leave to stand for 5 minutesbefore turning out and serving with custard,cream or brandy butter.
