Thanks for that Lunar. My Grandson is 11, and keeps moving. I have put on a heater in his bedroom for when he goes up in 15 mins or so. I will huddle under the duvet until they come home, then go and snuggle up with my husband. No doubt my daughter and her husband will do the same, They are both working until 12, so they are warm right now. Susan

Until everything is sorted can you all decamp to another location? The cold weather is dangerous to young children as well as the elderly. If you (daughter and kiddie) can't stay with friend or someone, the landlaor ideally should put you all up somewhere warm at his expence and get the heating sorted. Failing everything try campping under lots of blackets and huddleing together for warmth.

Well it is now 9.20pm, it has been hailing outside, and, of course, it is really freezing now. We have been to McDonalds, and got back in time before the hail came down. Susan

Now Ding Dong, that is not fair. You have all that heat, and my Grandson and I are freezing. It is his Birthday, so we are going to McDonalds soon, I hope they have their heating on. Susan

Oh you poor thing. My heating's on full blast and I'm chilled to the bone so I really cannot imagine how cold you must be. Keep typing at least it will keep the circulation going in your fingers! Daisy

The BIG problem is that the Landlord has this 'friend' who turns up when he feels like it, brings the wrong part, then says he will come back in a weeks time. The Landlord has told her to use electric heating, and he will foot the bill. Why doesn't he change friends? Susan

I am baby-sitting, the heating has broken and it is freezing in here. My fingers are blue. My daughters Landlord is trying to get the heating fixed, but his friend is too slow to catch a cold (maybe he should come here). Really, I am looking for sympathy. Cheers, Susan
