I love to read while I am walking. Other people seem to think this is odd/quirky, but I don't. They say I will get run over, but I haven't so far. I do look up to check where I'm going, rather as you would check your rearview mirror when you are driving. I have twice nearly bumped into people walking in the opposite direction doing the same thing. nell |

Personally, I find people that DON'T want to read are odd. If I go to someone's house and they don't have any books around I feel decidedly strange! My mum and dad both read a lot - we went to the library every Saturday when I was a child. Our house had books in every room except the bathroom - though I always took one to read in the bath! One day someone came to visit us and said 'Look at all them books, have you read them all?' My Mum said she hadn't, but she had read most of them. The visitor thought about this for a bit, and then pronounced 'Oooh, how boring!' nell |

Now Nell I agree that vistor was very ODD.......... boring because your mother had not read the books? or boring because she had books? Strange person either way. Now thats sounds refreshing Dave...... but perhaps odd because most people would have had a lemon rather than an orange LOL Lemon surpresses the appetite and cleanses your system ( so I am told by ardent dieters LOL) Much happiness Debi |

I like going for walks in the middle of the night. Two or three o'clock in the morning is the best time of day; no crowds, no traffic, just you and the stars. |

I love cornflakes with orange juice poured on them instead of milk. Came about when one morning, in my sleepy state ,I picked up the juice instead & milk and wasnt going to waste both the cornflakes & the juice so decided to try it. Yum YUM Shirley(who was brought up not to waste food!!!!) |

I like walking along the sea front on cold blustery nights, it is a good way of getting rid of the days stress. Bev |
