Penny, shhhh - don't tempt fate. I wouldn't put it past someone to set something off now it's quiet. Blimey, I don't believe it - as I was typing that, a firework's just gone off, though it's not near, thankfully. Oh well M'lud, I rest my case. x |

When Bob Geldoff got married we had loud fireworks from 8.00pm followed by even louder pop music till 12.00. And his gaff is 2 miles away. D |

all quiet here, at last!!! i was getting fed up with it, bang,bang,bang, all night long! i even had to turn the tele up!! spoke to soon, another one has just gone off!! my poor cats have'nt been out all night, the younger one does'nt go out at night,she's to little, the older one wants to go out now! so i will have to wait up if he goes! i don't like him being out all night,i don't believe in 'putting the cat out'!! and he is getting on in years now,he's 10, he had a bad fight a few nights ago and a couple of days later his face swelled up and one eye was half shut,he looked like mike tyson!!! he's ok now tho, swellings gone and eye is open. chris |
