Son has done homework, put on top of fish tank last night, hubby thought was rubbish so has screwed it up and thrown in bin. any ideas how to get the creases out of the paper?

Calm down dear! Compose yourself into your usual 'domestic goddess' frame of mind, get the iron out and steam them .... take care the ink doesn't run. If it doesn't work, write a note to the teacher explaining that you have an incompetent husband and give your son some hush money! Good luck! Jane

Perhaps scan it into computer and use photo editing tools as best as possible?

How about bashing your hubby over the head - might make you feel better while you're steaming away. Lin

Don't iron direct onto the paper, put a tea towl or something over the top to get the worst out. then either scan and reprint or photocopy it. your son might like an explanation note fore the teacher...if they are anything like ours were. goodluck sue

No, no, Dawn! That thing in the cupboard with a flat bottom is the bank manager - comes out once a week to tell you you're overdrawn. Jane

This confirms what I see every day in my house - two sons who do stupid things, and a husband who makes a drama out of it! I have now got to the point where I say 'you made this mess/forgot it/didn't put it away/take care of it, so you sort it out'. nell

Best of luck with it anyway. Wishing you a smooth peice of paper.

Copy it out again? Or is that too obvious!! Is it still readable? Hand it in as it is and let son tell teacher what dad did. As a teacher, I'd accept that. Janice
