Ok here I am , a rational (?) 44 year old Welsh woman, living in New Zealand for the last 5 years. I have been running a conference in Auckland for the last two days, walk toward the hotel reception this morning, to find myself surrounded by the entire All Blacks Squad! I could hardly speak! Got some autographs though and even a chat with Tana Umaga, the captain.... I was suddenly like a star stuck teenager! GO BLACK!! ( except against Wales!) |

Can't say I was overly impressed with Tana Umaga last time I saw him play, but I have met ex-All Blacks Ian Jones and Craig Dowd when they played for Wasps. And my younger son sat on Andy Gomarsall (ex-England scrum-half)'s knee when he was little. Both my sons 'played' rugby with Lawrence Dallaglio when they were tiny. Just don't get Donna/Strump started about her photo opportunity with Matt Dawson! nell |
