Yes, way back in the 80s! I remember one particular one when I was 8 months pregnant and went as a vicar. (Well I couldn't get into any of my tarty clothes! LOL) My husband was the tart - and lovely he looked too. Hobnail boots, fishnet stockings, long kaftan-type dress (complete with 2 strategically placed balloons), black curly wig, long dangly earings - and beard!!! He wasn't going to shave that off for anyone! I vividly remember dancing to Bad Manners (?) Can Can and a friend panicking because she thought I'd go into labour! LOL Little did she know that was the idea! Daughter was born 2 weeks later, despite all my efforts as a pregnant vicar! Happy memories :o) Sue xx |

thats the only one i regreatfuly missed... at T.O.T.S (southend) I missed my big burly karate club male friends, dressed AS TART'S !! . I won the ra- ra skirt competition there... only 'cause i'd removed two layers of the frill's !!( huzzy)..... any one remember the dance they did to ' Nelly the elephant' ??? wot a laaaaaarf ! xkx |

No never went to one of those but did go to a 'Toga' party when i was about 17. Not telling what went on at that one, think you could hazard a guess!!!!! |
