Crikey Dave... My grandad was born in 1895 too (died aged 72). somehow though i dont think they would have liked the world we live in now though... :)) Ive just re read that.... i got the dates wrong havent i! lol that makes my grandad 110 D'oh!

Yes Em my Grandad 1890 yours is just a mere boy at 110 though my Grandmother was born 1895 but she lived till she was 85 she was a absolute darling loved her to bits! Dx ps Em that Grandad died at 54 but his own Father well outlived him he was 102 when he died and used to walk 8 miles everyday until the week before he died.

wow Dave... that is some age isnt it! Mind you, even though my grandad died aged only 72, he did do rather well considering he had fought in Both the world wars!... a bit of an unlucky date to be born really though! lol

My lovely Grandad was born in 1886 and died when he was 82. My Granny was born in 1890 and died in 1958, at 68....clever aint I? They would not have liked this world either, too impersonal for a start. Deanna X

my grandads in law were born in 1867 (died when he was 80)& 1876 (died when he was 76) BUt my grandads were born 1903 & 1912 - think the generations have gone a bit amiss in our family!! Penny

We have generation mix too. My family has 5 generations to my wifes 7. My grandads grandad would be 207.

My Dad would have been 117 on December 13th this year,he died aged 78 in April 1967. Sue
