I've put on over 3 stone in 2½ years! It was easier than I thought it would be to stop smoking after almost 40 years, so why then can't I motivate myself to lose the weight I've gained? Anyone got any tips - please :o) Sue xx

karen,it's not unusual to put on weight, this time of the year, sometimes our metabolism increases,so that we are more able to cope with the wintry conditions. just think of it as a coat, that can come off in the spring. bryan.

Karen....first of all well done for quitting! You can tackle the weight gain later....I stopped five years ago and have put on one stone...but have no regrets, just getting accustomed to an extra layer! lol BC XX
