Well ok Maz have had the flu injection for the very 1st time;; have put it off for years;; will keep a update for anyone frightened of having one if that will do;; Been 5 hours now and not even a sore arm;; so we will see Babs x

I had the flu jab last Friday and have had no ill effects, arm a little sore but that soon went and nowhere near as sore as the pneumonia jab. there are supposed to be no ill effects with either. ann Glos

you may get the sniffles ,or a mild cold ,but that's better than full blown flu any day,Liz and i go for ours Friday afternoon.Fred.PtfA&G&G&S.

Hiya Ann and Fred,, I was suppose to have the pneumonia one as well but the rec did`nt hear me right and by the time I got in for the fle one the que for the other was 38 so have to go back when my chest clear again !! They are having a laugh it is the 1st time my doc has heard it clear in 9 yrs and they said next time for pneumonia one is in Jan could have had it and been cured by then !! babs

i think having the flu jab is so much better than getting flu .a little pain that all it and if you have a lung disease or heart problems or you are elderly it is a mustxxxxxxxx(((:

Babs!!! Excellent! I am due for mine on Saturday, and I would not miss it for anything... I had flu one year quite some time ago, and it is with huge thanks to the doctors and nurses that I am still here! Never again will I miss the jab! Maz x :O)

24 half hour update; naughty girl had a good lie in 10-40 1st time in 5 months anyway no effects at all nothing, really pleased about that as I to was worried about side effects, and all that is going on in my life just now that would have been just one more headache !! be back later Babs x

Hubby has not had his yet he has had a chest infection, but he does have it every year with no noticable ill effects. I can't have it as I have an intolerance to eggs. I'm sure you will be fine. Deanna X

Thanks for the updates Babs... See I told you it would be ok.. They no longer use the old stuff, so you no longer get the flu with these jabs! And you are now protected from getting a nasty bout of it when it arrives! Maz x :O)
