Its jeans for genes day today. Such a good cause. Im wearing my 'hippy' jeans today as hubby calls them. They are pale blue with patches and a flower at the bottom. We have to pay £2.00 at work as a forfeit. What are you doing and where? This site tells you all about it too... http://www.jeansforgenes*.*com/2_about/index.php Remove * as usual Vikki xx |

I've got my jeans on but they are just plain blue- not as snazzy as yours Vikki!! I'm a TA in a school and everyone has been encouraged to wear them today. We are hoping to fill a pair of jeans with 10p pieces, there will be raffles and we also have a charity breakfast starting at 7.30 pm to generate more dosh for a worthwhile cause. Aileenx |

I don't have any jeans :( so I'll just pin my badge bought to support this good cause onto my normal clothes. Grandson has helped to organise a Jeans night at his Cub pack tonight, in aid of this charity. Gwyn |

Thank you for your replies. What a good idea to fill a pair of jeans with 10 pences! Unfortunatly my sons school are not supporting it this year - shame, because they have every other year. Still there are so many things to support nowadays, its hard to pick. I tend to just give to whoever is asking in the town etc, but am a regular monthly payer towards my own area's air ambulance, which is extemely important to me. Vikki xx |

Got mine on too. My daughter's school are doing the same Wendy, even the teachers. Mind you the kids still have to wear their blazers and ties and no trainers allowed!! Daisy |
