Bryan, It's normal to use almond oil to dilute essential oils for application to the skin. CB >|<

Some places make carrier products such as hand lotions. In the UK the Body Shop make one and they also sell carrier oils. A good way of using the oils is to burn then with a special oil burner or put a few drops on your pillow at night.

i got an oil burner, but thought the minty smell may be too much, will have to try it, must admit i did smell a bit like an after eight earlier, i had just got out of bath too, so being warm made it worse,

The only aromatherapy oil you can put on your skin undiluted is Tea Tree Oil.Really good for cuts and grazes. I used tea tree oil skin wash and tea tree oil before I had an operation on my hand. Sue

You COULD TRY PUTTING A SMALL amount of water in the burner and then put just a few drops of oil on top, this stops the oil evaporating too quickly
