Wait till he gets a place of his own Jenny. My son never did a thing at home when he lived here. Except make a mess LOL Now he has his own house he has done alsorts just fitted his kitchen. Plumbed his washer in last week (yipee!!!). He even layed me a new floor in my kitchen and has offered to do my kitchen (only need new doors and bits). Has surprised everyone. His house is a credit to him. They grow up sooner or later. Don't worry he sounds pretty normal. Germaine x

Peter, my sentiments entirely. (Sorry Jenny, hope all goes well.) When I was pregnant and doing up my house, I had ordered and paid for a load of carpet which was stored at this rather posh store. Two days before my son arrived, the carpet was delivered. Next day the carpet fitter was to attend and a friend was making sure all the nails were knocked into the floor boards, etc. That evening noticed water dripping through ceiling onto new boiler and newly decorated kitchen. Turned out friend had put nail through pipe so had to call him back and he had to fix new piece of pipe and mop up for me. Next day when carpet fitter arrived he unrolled the carpet (three upstairs rooms and stairs) to find that for all that while the store had been holding on to the wrong colour carpet for me! Emergency call to store and new carpet had to be rushed round post haste. It could only happen to me!

Me and hubby have just emptied our lounge and diningroom completley. Well the tv is still in the room. We are having new carpets laid in the morning. Son has just rung up, he's been out all day and is now at the pub. ( I did ask if he would be around to help hubby put suite in the garage) But he's now rang to ask Daughter to ring his girlfriend on her mobile to come to him at the pub. This means he intends for her to stay the night as he wil not be able to take her home, as he has had a drink. The house is a complete mess. 6 Dining chairs in his bedroom, three coffee tables in ours. Dresser and two large bookcases in the kitchen. I can just about get in there to make a cuppa. Oh and get some cider out of the fridge. why does he do this to me. Jenny.
