Are there people here who are glad they live in the Uk or is it true we are all thinking about how we can emigrate and where to? |

Hi Pat, I live in Mallorca and would love to come back to the UK. I'd probably hate it once I was there though lol. I think I miss my family more than anything. There are pros and cons to living here compared to England - what I would really like is a merging of the best parts of both then i'd be happy lol! Natalia x |

I haven't lived in the UK for 5 years, and don't think I could ever move back. I love New Zealand too much |

If I could take all my friends and family with me Pat, I would love to go somewhere warm. Not TOO hot though, just a steady 74 deg. I don't want much do I :)) Chrissie x |

I've never experienced living in another country, although I have dreamed of wall to wall sunshine and a different way of life!!! Fact is though...I KNOW how to be English. I 'get' the jokes..'know' the nursery rhymes etc etc...it's all part of belonging to the culture as far as I am concerned. So I am not sure I could feel I belonged anywhere else. Dee x |

I'm considering emigrating. I have been thinking about it for a while now. Still undecided though. Gem:))) |

I emigrated to NZ back in 1973. It's a beautiful country with a great way of life but for me it was too far from England. I felt as though I had been cut off by the roots. I came home to England in 1979 & haven't regretted it for one minute especially since I moved to glorious Somerset. There is a lot I would like to change but quite simply England is home. Vivienne |

Everyone I speak to at the minute seems to be thinking of where they can move to. Its good to hear from people who are happy to live here. I love to travel, but wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I go on holiday and enjoy the sunny weather although we get more than we think in the uk but don't go on about it, and it always feels good to get back to the uk. |
