The National Autistic Society (NAS) on Vodafone live! Yesterday saw the launch of NAS content on the Vodafone live! menu. This joint initiative between Vodafone and The National Autistic Society will enable parents, carers and people with autism to access vitally informative content from www.info.autism(.)org.uk via their mobiles. Breaking down the invisible barriers to communication Supported by Vodafone, The NAS begins its biggest-ever fundraising campaign. Building on the successful `Day for Autism` event on 25 September, today 250 independent radio stations across the UK will broadcast news features, editorials, interviews and commercials promoting the first ever National Survey about Autism and how it touches people. Supported by direct mail, telemarketing and online initiatives, this campaign centres around the idea of helping to break down the invisible communication barriers that Autism creates. It will encourage people to request a survey form and ultimately aims to recruit a significant number of new donors to the NAS. If you would like to take part in the survey, please either text SURVEY to 81222, call 0800 106075 or visit www.autismcounts(.)org.uk. |
