To be back! Just had a fantastic 2wks in Cornwall and feeling a bit deflated now I am home! But on the upside... while we were away we did a lot of talking and have made the decision to put our house on the market and move down south! It is not just a whim it is something that we have wanted to do for years and we have decided that the time is right....Life is to short for 'If Only's'.. Bev x

Hi Bev, I think it's worth exploring the possibilities. We thought about moving to West Wales when our son was little and explored the possibilities. However, there was no appropriate work for my OH and I wouldn't have been able to teach because I don't speak Welsh. We had other ties here that we didn't want to leave as well. If it's practical for you I'd say, 'Go for it'. Gwynne

Hi Bev Glad you enjoyed your holiday. If youve been thinking about moving for a long time, then do it, I dont blame anyone for moving somewhere they really want to, best foot forward and go. Im waiting for this house to be finished then off to live in Wales had enough of the rat race but will commute to Liverpool for work even though it will take 2 hours to get here. but to go home to a fantastic view of the valleys and fresh air would be wonderful. Do it Bev before its too late. Best wishes for the future. Yvonne

Thanks for all your best wishes! We will be putting the house up for sale as soon as other half has had his hip op! We really have nothing to lose as Mike will have to start a new job when he's had his operation and as I work in a bar I am sure that I could get a bar job in Cornwall! Maz...we are planning a move to Polperro! The plan is to initially buy a caravan from the sale of the house and we are arranging things with Killigarth Manor who allow you to live on the park residentially for 11mths of the year! The main thing is to clear off our existing debts and move down debt free! A whole new start if you like! You are not being biased though Maz... You are right! Cornwall is the best place in the world and that is definately where we want to bring up our son! I can only believe that it will benefit all of us in the long run! Bev x

I wish you all the best for your plans, it's something I would love to do too. I love Cornwall and it would be a dream come true. Maybe you can do cream teas and we can all come and visit, lol
