I keep getting pop-ups inviting me to install the above. Anyone know what it is and what's it for? Len

It plays those little animated adverts and the such like. You don`t really need it. Unless you like the adverts lol

Oh, Macromedia Flash Player does so MUCH more than play those little adverts.....it allows you to view animation on the big www, as well as those funny animated e-mails one receives from family and friends on occasion. We install this free program on EVERY new PC our shop sets up as without it you would miss out on so much the www has to offer. If you're recieving this message when on a website it's because your PC is unable to utilize the site properly and the pop-up is advising you that you need it. If you're not familiar or comfortable with downloading this program when a pop-up comes on your screen, I would suggest that you go directly to the download site to get it (you can also read up o n what the program does for you): http://www.macromedia(.)com/downloads/ Remember to remove the ( ) from the address. There are 2 downloads on this page - download both - Macromedia Flash and Shockwave Player. More than likely by downloading the two programs you will end up with icons for each program on your desktop.....you can RIGHT click on both of them and delete them as they are only shortcuts and do nothing for you other than to clutter your desktop. Your PC will automatically utilize these programs when needed with no prompting on your part. For those who already have these programs, you can check and see if there are updates available for your version of the player. Judy :)
