i bought a buddah for by my front door, and a matching mexican sleeping, put the buddah on door step by fairys facing across as if hes looking to the left of the street, ( i figured we needed his good fortune and help) i went to work yesterday and slid down the stairs on me bum, pain shot up my back and into back of neck and head, am now very achy, walking like ive lost my zimmer frame, have i sat the buddah facing the wrong way or what

lisa my daughter bought me one for my birthday, i put him on top of tv, and i have one inside front door dad made me at his pottery classes, i love oriental stuff thanks lemon , i havent been on for few days as son been on here

Julie I have a little buddah sitting indoors - facing the front door. I think I have definitely got him in the wrong place - must be him that keeps scaring all the fellas away LOL

I think buddhas are supposed to go in the west. I've got mine in the west of my garden and a mini one in the west of my living room on the mantlepiece. You are supposed to tickle their tummies 3 times on the first of the month for money but I think mainly represent fun and laughter so are good if you have children. We ought to start a gr paranormal club julie. We could have live seances on a friday night or something pmsl louise xx

I've got a Buddha sat outside my back door. His big toe is sticking out from under his tunic but it looks like something else! lol. He definitely causes much fun and laughter!

Julie Anne -I will try to go into Feng Shui shop in the city if I have time - I still have to source red envelopes for someone too - I bet I know where you got your statues from - we bought the sleeping mexican reduced from Homebase last week, cos everyone says my o.h. looks mexican with his moustache and I think they had Buddhas there too. You are very lucky he doesn't get stolen - most places round here he would be gone by next morning. Explain a bit more about where he is positioned so I can print this and show the Chinese woman who runs the shop. Liz

The red envelopes were for me Liz. I still haven't bought any. I've got a money toad facing my front door now. YOu have to turn him away from the door at night so he doesn't get exhausted. not rich yet though lol

Louise did you see my message in another thread some time ago that Kleeneze do craft packs and they have red envelopes in with those. I hope I can walk as far as the FS shop today (Sat) I am having problems getting around far these days. Will see what I can find for you?

My mum has a buddah by the front door and she reckons nothings gone right since she got him! (But he does get used as a convenient object on which to lean umbrellas so perhaps thats the problem). Bev x
