Oh yes please if you can give a dog a home, greyhounds make great companions, always tired and so docile, the only thing I would watch is little dogs from far away, we used to own a retired greyhound called Annie and she was fine untill you let her off her lead on the common........WOOSH she was gone to investigate the dog on the other side of the common, she often got other small dogs mixed up with a hare....... Bryan lol, Annie would lose intrest as soon as she got up close and realised there was no hare......she wouldnt chase a ball, toys ect but would go and investigate a small dog from afar and then be tired for the rest of the day.......Lovely creatures are greyhounds Rosi

Baz Yes get a greyhound to go with your lurcher. I had a lurcher years ago and got a greyhound from Greyhound Rescue within 2 months, they were pals for years. Have a look to see if you have a GREYHOUND RESCUE CENTRE near you. Sue

That,s a great idea Baz, especially if you get one from a rescue center. Just one question though. Should I order that remote now or wait until the new dog chews the one you bought? Lol

Baz. I think it is a great idea. I have always had 2 yorkies, they play together and are company for each other. The down side is, - 2 lots of Vet bills and other upkeep of course, including remotes!! At the moment , we have my daughter's yorkie and mine, but one is 14 years and mine is 3 years, its best if the ages are close. Dont forget you will have to train it to go around the bins, lol June xx
