You may have read yesterday that I was researching pre=paid funerals. Mrs H and myself are hoping to go on the Queen Mary around the Med next june. Both cost about the same. My good lady said, 'I,ll get the holidays; you get the funerals' Think there was a touch of the unknown in that line. You,ve got to joke about old age , death, and disabilities or you would scream. Happy days

Harry, Do you mean Mrs H was suggesting she went on the holiday, while you paid for the funerals? CB >|<

Would your insurance cover the cost of a holiday for your wife? She could probably do an environmentally friendly cardboard coffin and drop it off the side of the ship. Then she wouldn't have to worry about maintaining your grave! nell

sorry harry, was trying to stay away from your topic yesterday. lol. i'm only 34 and thought ; naaa stay away, not ready to go yet, but in all reality, i've a husband and 3 kid's. by paying for an unexpected funeral, i guess would cause alot of hardship. has now got me thinking. think i'll open a savings account, and call it dead money.. pardon the pun. you never know!!!! lynnxx

Not going to compete against a gaggle of girls. Funny you should raise these matters though - I asked my wife what she wanted for her birthday and she said 'a widows pension'. Sorry Hal - you have just come up. It,s cremation - my wife likes making a fuel out of me. (told you about black humour). happy days

Take Mrs H to the Med, Harry. You're a long time dead, and you can't, as far as I know, send a post-card!

Sorry to rub it in Harry, found this little rhyme in one of my old diaries:- I can manage my bifocals, To my dentures I'm resigned, I can cope with my arthritis, But how I miss my mind, Have fun whilst you can still remember what it is. Len(Now where's my zimmer frame?)
