Jen my daughter is 32 weeks pregnant, she phoned me this morning complaining of a head ache that has lasted for 4 days now. She had also just spent the last hour throwing up into the sink. I told her to phone her midwife or doctor which she did. They told her to go to the local hospital for a check up at 3pm. Its now almost 5pm and Ive not heard anything. She isnt at home and her mobile is turned off. UPDATE: Panic over. Jen has just phoned, they put her on a monitor for half an hour, all fine there. Blood pressure up slightly but not enough to worry about. Glucose in urine, but again not enough to worry about. So Dr has put it down to a migraine. Jen hasnt suffered from one for a long long time, but Doc told her that they can come back in late pregnancy. Will hang on to that phone number I think its going to come in very handy. |

Try not to worry too much Margaret (I know, easier said than done) but hospitals do keep you waiting around ages, and it's really difficult when you have to keep your mobile turned off. Mandy x |
