Julie, Glad to hear you have been smiling. Don't know the background - but don't let this person bully you - stand your ground and answer them back - worked for me once and we became very good friends in the end :O) Keep smiling xxxxxxx

I think you always get one person wherever you are, in whatever situation that has to upset in whatever way they can. It makes you wonder just how sad their life must be that they have to make such an upset of other peoples. Just sad lonely little idiots. Don't let the bas**rds get you down.

I despise bullies People think its only kids in the playground that have to put up with this sort of thing but its not. I was treated terribly at work by two grown women last year. It was only bar work but I left through them. They were telling customers that Id had a boob job and I was a miserable cow etc etc and I couldnt take any more when I would walk into work and didnt even get a grunt of a hello. I used to cry at night cos I did not want to go to work but had to cos we were skint as Mark was not working. One apologised later but I cannot bear to face the other. I had to invite her to my wedding in February as her boyfriend was one of Marks ushers and it killed me - especially when I heard later she was moaning on about me ignoring her all day. It was my WEDDING for Gods sake. Anyway, sorry about the rant. Don't let the bully get the better of you, he or she is just a jealous, nasty turd!!!! Natalia

the women in our place came there about 3 years ago and i started last summer, the other girls have noticed the way she speaks but didnt mention it till i asked them , was it just me that noticed how she behaved, the others have worked at this place for between 9 and 17 years, theyve known the boss since he started up and just before, trouble is this person has no respect for the boss but is now getting one of the womens daughters(who also works there part time and is 18 ) to behave the same, they are rude , spiteful, and always undermining everyone, think the place cant run without them, i have spoken out several times , but soon its going to explode,

Funny how the bullies always get a younger, less secure person as their sidekick isn't it?.......................... Natalia x

Have you spoken to your boss about it, or even someone in your Personnel department? Most companies have a policy about this kind of thing these days - not to be tolerated!!!!!!!!!!!

hi julie ann, i have never experienced bullying at work. i thought it was something you left behind, in the school playground ! but it is a well known fact that bullies are sad, insecure people- usually of a lower intelligence . not that that helps you, if you have to work with the b**ches ! BUT do keep it in mind when they start to annoy you ! good luck babe, they sound horrible. sue. ps- any way of getting the youngster on her own, and maybe making her see the error of her ways ? maybe make her realise there are better ways of making your way through life ?

its a small buisness, and i did approach him months back and said how she thinks when hes not there shes in charge and trys to take over, i told him many of the others feel the same, he said you get this when group of women work together, trouble is she 'haves a word with him' (thats her phrase) every other week about other members of staff , shes always reporting someone, and its usually lies , she doesnt pull her weight, i think hes wising up to her but , i dont know what hell do to stop her

Julie, I know this is a bit rude and won't stop her, but picture her sat on the toilet! And, perhaps, mention this to your colleagues so that they can do the same. Might make you feel a bit better. x
