Apparently this is the term for Adult Children who return to, or are still living at their Parents' home. It stands for Kids In Parents' Pockets Eroding Retirement Savings!

Technically I am one but contribute something each month, I think my brother is more guilty of that than I am and he doesn't live there now, lol.

No Grampa...and I never was one either....I always had a job of soughts from the age of 13 first job being paper round then stuff like babysitting and always bought my own expensive things that I needed as mum never had a lot of money...Then I left home at 17 to move to Alton in Hampshire...... Love Susie xx

No and I've told my sons that if they don't leave home when they are old enough then I will!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mum still has my brother at home though - she wonders why he doesn't get a place of his own, but why should he? He comes home to hot meals and clean clothes without any effort on his part, in return for which he provides a bit of chauffeuring and does a few odd jobs around the house. nell

Yes oh yes!! 22 year old daughter, 20 year old son ,17 year old daughter and my eldest sons two chidren aged 4 and nearly 3 . Eldest son has own flat and has children when he is not working, days he is working I have them day and night . House is usually full of childrens friends I never know who I am going to find when I wake up. Sometimes I feel we resemble the Slater family in Eastenders.I am not sure whether they really qualify as kippers but my food bills suggest they might . Frances

Well, our son still lives at home, but I'm damned glad he does. His 'rent' is my monthly allowance! He doesn't cost me anything, and he's just gone halves with his Dad to buy me a new PC and printer. I've no complaints. The nearest our son is to a Kipper is being born under the sign of Pisces, the fish. CB >|<

For a few years our house had revolving doors, my two boys kept leaving home and coming back, one went, changed the bedding then the other returned, plus a couple of my step sons had a turn when they were in a spot. But it has been 4 years now and so far so good, but I still miss them sometimes....but not the washing, ironing, food bills etc etc
