Went to a family wedding on my husbands side on Saturday and we were talking about those sadly no longer with us,and a cousin said had we noticed that her dad,his brother and his sister had all died on the 14th January but different years! As mum in law is the only surviving sibling,we have decided not to mention this coinsidence to her. We were also told of when another Aunt had just got off the bus early one evening and heard someone call her name,looking over her shoulder she saw my husbands father not far away,she turned round and said 'hello Len,what are you doing here?' but he had disappeared.Later that eveing she had a telephone call to learn husbands father had died suddenly earlier that day.He lived 200 miles away. The same aunt when visiting her daughter had seen the ghost of a litle girl in the house,the daughter not believing this had stayed in the hallway at night and she saw the ghost of a little girl very deformed,and as she had young children at the time,didn't feel comfortable with this, and had the house exorcised. Still getting goose bumps when I think about this!!!!! Brenda

I know that my uncle and grandmother died on the same day, years apart. But I also recall reading that some 'coincidences' aren't really as spooky as we think and that - can't remember exact figures - but if there were 20 or so people in the room, chances are at least 2 of them would share a birthday. I know when I met 2 other Helens at Gaynor's meet last October that we found lots of 'coincidences' in places and dates of ourselves and families. nell

My paternal Grandfather and his first Grandson died on the same day one year aprt. David had cancer and died aged 14. My Grand father had a heart attack almost to the hour one year later. Jane

My Grandmother died on the same day as her mother, 28 years apart and my Nan died on the same day her mother was christened. M.

Hi everyone, Mum in law is in sheltered housing, a still very sprightly 78 year old who teaches line dancing to her not so young inmates as she calls them,but feel telling her this info about her sister and brothers might have adverse effects.My husband whose fathers death I mentioned was glad to pass 24 and survive! he said it had always been on his mind that he would die at the same age. Sorry for being morbid. Brenda

I met my ex whom I had never met before, after the funeral of his mother. Found out her birthday was the same day as mine, and she was buried on my mother's birthday!!! maggie

My son's girlfriend's mother shares my birthday and my son told me today that his best mate's girlfriend's mum also has her birthday today too. Wish I wasn't the oldest of us!
