I would like to thank all of you that came to the Mini Geordie meet, that was arranged to coincide with Sandancer's visit to her homeground. It was lovely to meet Sal, Fred and his Wife Liz and Jim, Ann's Husband, at long last. Not forgetting Ann, Anna and Andy who I have met before. I think we should have wrapped up a bit warmer as the weather was not too warm on the sea front. But we all had a good natter and laugh. Sally, hope you have a lovely time with all your family over the next few days. Anna, I have asked Andy not to put those pic's on the GR Photo's page and he has promised not too. Looking forward to seeing all the Tall Ships on Thursday. Fred and Liz, dont forget to pick me up at 9am sharp. Think you had better bring a couple of hot water bottles along also. Ann and Jim. Did you get your Pie's??? Andy, I do hope you got home safely and did not end up at the airport again. Please let us know you are home, with ALL events of your journey back. Lol. See most of you again on Thursday. Love Jenny. xx |

Morning Ann, yes he came and picked us up and took us to Fitzspatrick's, went home for shower and change. Then came back. Anna did not leave until after 8.30pm and I must add NOT as quiet as she was earlier on in the day. Lol. Me, Andy and Chris then went across to Ozzie's bar. Just hope Andy caught his last train home. I got Taxi home and left Chris with his friends. Had a good nights sleep, feel as fit as a fiddle this morning. But you should see the state of the house. Floor boards had been taken up all on the landing and staircase also, what a mess. Speak to you later. Love Jenny xx |

Hi all ,Fred is refreshed ,the sea air made me sleep well ,i must go down there more often. Must say sorry to you all if i seemed a bit quiet ,it's my upbringing ,being born in a little community ,in the country i had few people i knew well ,and i take a while to come out of my shell ,in strange company .I did enjoy myself ,and can't wait till Thursday. Glad to hear that Andy got away alright, what's all this about the metro? lol,i thought they were running all right.Every one was bubbly ,and fun ,so i will be more relaxed next time round[Gaw'd help the lot of you]Liz was most impressed with the lot of you and you can't get a better accolade than that but i kept getting that behave look off her [sigh ] sometimes i can't win he he. Sorry about the mess in the House jenny ,i can imagine ,when we moved in ,it was a case of a new boiler [no ,not the missus] but we didn't need it moved ,having to shift the location ,and take up the flooring must be a nightmare ,i can see a few tears before it's finished maybe ,but once it's done it will be worth it. i will be on time Jenny ,complete with sarnies ,flaskes of tea [it keeps better than coffee] in a flask, seperate milk ,and sugar of course.,chairs table ,and uncle tom cobbly and all ,we have decided to include two stools as well just in case [hopefully]a couple of more peeps turn up.see you all soon ,i hope in better weather .Fred&,Liz.p/s Hope you enjoyed your show Sally, and hope you will enjoy better weather for the rest of your holiday .xxx |

Hi all, Fred - you weren't withdrawn at all, don't worry - it's not easy getting a word in with us lot anyway! The show was fab - a bit amateur in parts but that was part of the fun. It was fantastic watching a play about shipwrecks on the Black Middens with the sea crashing over the pier and the Tall Ships crossing the bar in the background! The priory looked gorgeous as the sun went dwon behind it. My Dad, sister and brother-in-law arrived safe so we all met up at Cragside for the day today - the dogs got on great - apart from the odd bit of snapping. Got some geet lush photos! Sal |

Hi all, Nice to meet you, only just seen this thread...got home safely, well this morning I did anyway, lol. I missed the last train, so managed to get checked into an hotel just round the corner from the station. When I was having breakfast in the hotel this morning, there were guys sat at the next table who had been in the same situation. Seems stupid that trains don't run after 10pm on weekends yet they do on weekdays. Felt a bit rough this morning but after getting back, I've been out for a 5 mile walk this afternoon and felt fine. I have my adventures, lol. Andy |

So pleased, you all enjoyed yourselves, despite the breeze. Jim perhaps next time. When I have the big meet up in Tynemouth when Gaynor Bear arrives home. Will need our thermals on in February though. Annie, so looking forward to meeting you on Thursday. It should be good. Dont forget to bring your flask, filled with whatever??? Ann, it was Andy leading us astray. He kept getting us to pose for silly photo's. OMG. They were terrible. Jenny x |
