My lovely Grandad Harry Tivers, who died in 1969. I was the apple of his eye and I loved him more than anyone. I wish I could be a little girl again, going with him to his allotment and eating freshly picked carrots, dirt and all! We had such fun :o) I still think about him almost every day. Lots of other people I can think of too, especially my other Grandad Willie Kilpatrick, who I never met as he lived in Canada and died when I was 2. I'd love to ask him who his mother was and when she died. Who was Ada Jane? Where does she fit in to the family? Where is his little sister Ella buried? Sue xx |

I'd like to meet the lady who gave birth to my Dad, to find out why she had to give him up and if she was happy when she eventually married. Dee x |

My late Godmother, Aunt Nell - because she was so wise, a scholar and lecturer, who could read Latin, Greek and Hebrew and, it seemed, able to discuss any subject under the sun. She had had access to the Vatican archives and was a mine of information. The only thing she would not share with me was the family history, dismissing them with 'Dear me, you don't want to know about that lot' Len |

My sister Joan, she died in a car accident when I was 13, she was 27 - she was the most ... words don't exist to say how good she was. She was my teacher when I started kindi, she was my Sundayschool teacher, she gave me my first nephew and two beautiful nieces, and she left a big hole in my family, and my heart. I miss my mum and dad, and other rellies who are no longer with us, but if I could have some time with just one it would be Joan. Now I'm sad again and I didn't want to be Laurie |
