Hi everyone! Thanks for the help..... she seems a bit more chipper this afternoon so i think that the Lucozade and Ginger biccies are helping! She doesn't know wot she's having but i think it's gonna be a little girl. c x

Gaviscon worked for me......as did ginger biscuits or ginger ale.......mum swore by drinking flat lemonade to settle her tummy with any type of sickness.. Jill x

You midwife told you a load of old cobblers Toothfairy!! I was sick from conception through to birth with both my boys, lol. The only thing that actually helped the nausea was to be sick and wait for the next bout.

I had the worst morning sickness EVER and was still being sick while i was giving birth. A little chinese woman i know made me drink hot water with lemon, someone else gave me ginner biscuits.. i don't think anything worked for me... is she having a girl? My midwife said sickness is worse if it's a girl, wondered if it was true!? x

i always had a lollypop nex to my bed and i sucked on it as soon as i got up and it worked a treat for me

You feel sick because your blood-sugar levels have hit rock bottom. Anything which can give them a boost will work - Lucozade, dextrose sweets, something with sugar in it like biscuits etc. Janice

Does anyone know of any? and before you ask..... NO it's not for me lol..... my little matey who I work with is feeling really ill and doesn't know what to do, and I feel useless coz i've never experienced it.........anyone got any idea what i can do to make her feel better?.......c....x
