I have one of those birthdays comming up on monday. You know the one with the 0 at the end of it. One that I have been dreading. But my hubby has really pulled out all the stops. He has paid for which I had this morning a full body massage, (even my eye lids was done) a bit a reki, a facial, and a manicure. I then came home to lots of booze complet with bbq and a curry, and the most fantastic birthday cake. I realy cant get over the cake. It is fantastic. Is everthing I would wish for in cake form. Its a big square, with white and swirly green icing, with black sparkly things on it. A witch, a cauldron with fire under it, with snakes crawling out of it. A black cat, spiders, A large green marzipan witch, and a conventional one that I can keep. I cant belive the effort he has gone to, to make it so special. And to keep it all a secret, he cant keep secrets. He has even allowed me to have some presents from friends who came to my party. He said I couldnt have anything till monday when its offical. But I have a dragon with a crystal, a lovely bracelet that my sister had specially made from me with crystals and silver and things hanging from it, and a dragons head little thingy for keeping little things in. My 22 yr old son exceled himself with a fab big bunch of flowers, roses, pinks, babys breath, crysanths, lilys and some other stuff that I have no idea what they aren but is wonderful and smells lovely. And yes I have had far too much cider and wine, but my family and friends love me, and have helped me celebrate a birthday, that I havnt had yet, I still have surpises to come on Monday, and Im drunk and soooooo happy I could cry. Dave has gone to bed cos he has to be up at 5am for work tomorror but only for a couple of hours, the little ones are in bed. I am drinking a cup of coffee cos I really need it. The garden is in a mess, the house is in a mess, I have had too much to drink, 22 yr old son is heating up whats left of the curry cos he's hungry. And Im so happy, and chilled out and well feeling, really dead chuffed. |

How lovely Margaret. My husband did something similar for my birthday a couple of years ago and it was terrific so I can imagine how pleased and touched you are. Some men are wonderful aren't they? |
