Its awful Bec, last night when i knew we had 2012, i said to Dave, just what will this cost us? I maintain, possibly many lives. Hate to say it, i will be the one of the 1% who dont want the 2012 on us. I hope to god, we beat the terrorists before then xx

Donna - We have already beaten them! We must still be positive and we will have the best Olympic Games of all time! I believe that this will make us stronger, we will get through this and all using our true British/English resolve!!! becx

Hi Bec & All, It's lovely to hear you putting a positive slant on the terrible events of yesterday Bec. Donna, we have always had & will always have terrorists of one sort or another, they were called anarchists in days gone by! We will not beat them completely but we will make it harder for them. The only way to beat them completely would make our lives intollerable with retrictions & then they still would have won. I'm off to work now, I hoe when I get home tonight there are lots of positive threads on the board. Have a good day everyone, I'll be thinking of you Vivienne

True, Bec, and there's still something else we mustn't forget i e what's happening in Edinburgh and let the dust settle while London gets back to normal. if it hadn't been for yesterday's events in London, G8 would still be dominating our headlines. Re London, my family had no trouble at all getting to King's Cross by train this morning. Apparently the train was half empty and there's nowhere near the usual amount of traffic on the roads, but then the Police have advised people to stay at home today, so it's not all down to fear.
