thanks susie have been uplifted.my job is a dead end one at the moment.get a little fed up dealing with adults.will be so much better and also putting something back into these kids lives .they need all the help they can get.love and hugsxxxx(:

Thats brilliant news Lisa. i am a qualified nursery nurse and although the pay is not good the sense of achievement you get from those little people is amazing. What job would you like to do?

Depends where you work really. i haven't worked for 4 years since having my kids but used to be local authority posts were better paid than private nurserys. They are I think about £5-£5.50 per hour where I live but I'm sure that varies around the country. I used to work in a primary school reception class. There are so many opportunities when you have your qualification, including working for sure start! I am hoping my qualification will help me into midwifery training in the next few years. Sarah

thanks lou thanks guys.have wanted to do this for a while just had to push myself alittle harder.this course will gain me an nvq in childcare and runs for a year.also it's in the evening so can keep the job i have now .get my qualification then hopefully get a placement in a nursery/pre school.will be a great achievement for mexxxxx(:

That's brilliant Lisa, good luck. I worked with under 5's for many years, only recently gave up working for Homestart as a volunteer. There is nothing more rewarding Dee xx
