Thats brilliant news Lisa. i am a qualified nursery nurse and although the pay is not good the sense of achievement you get from those little people is amazing. What job would you like to do? |

Depends where you work really. i haven't worked for 4 years since having my kids but used to be local authority posts were better paid than private nurserys. They are I think about £5-£5.50 per hour where I live but I'm sure that varies around the country. I used to work in a primary school reception class. There are so many opportunities when you have your qualification, including working for sure start! I am hoping my qualification will help me into midwifery training in the next few years. Sarah |

thanks lou thanks guys.have wanted to do this for a while just had to push myself alittle harder.this course will gain me an nvq in childcare and runs for a year.also it's in the evening so can keep the job i have now .get my qualification then hopefully get a placement in a nursery/pre school.will be a great achievement for mexxxxx(: |
