If I had to pick one to learn it would be the piano. Sadly, can do nothing at the moment. :-(

I'm in the same position as you Daniel. Would like to play the piano or the guitar... I will restrain myself from further comment about Dave and his organ.

Got to grade 3 on the violin at school. I too would love to play the piano. I can a bit by ear, and I can read music so I ought to give it a go! Claire xx

Claire does it not hurt your ears playing the notes on the piano, think you would be best using your fingers? Dx

I learned to play the piano and violin as a child and though I have both instruments now I haven't really touched them in years - the piano needs tuning which doesn't help and finding a pieano tuner who will come out to where we live is a challenge. My husband on the other hand 'collects' instruments and can play every one that he owns - Native American drum, bodhran, bongos, djembe, dumbek, classical guitar, bass guitar, electric guitar, violin, viola, mandolin, digeridoo, (he experimented with some drainpipe before he bought a real one!) and the list goes on. We have instruments all over the house, even adorning the walls. One of his hobbies is buying old violins and refurbishing them.
