& women can't read maps'. This is the title of a very interesting book. It will probably give you the answers to many questions which you have been wondering about. Why men can never find anything for example. Why men cannot do two things at the same time etc. etc. I had always thought that both mens and womens brains were the same, but they are not which explains a lot. It goes back a few thousand years when men hunted and women stayed behind to look after the children - obviously not travelling far and she could do two things at once and knew the small area well, but couldn't travel far. It is quite funny too in places. Sylvia xxx |

Men can`t find anything? Other half was looking for a briefcase, which was sitting in full view beside the coffee table. Where was he looking for it? In the loft. |

'..... it goes back a few thousand years when men hunted and women stayed behind to look after the children ...... ' - seems the women knew when they were onto a good thing, Stay behind, look after the children, thinking to themselves 'Wow ! this is the good life', sit and watch telly with children, 'men are coming back ... better look busy'. They say a womans work is never done ........ accent on NEVER ! |

Sylvia It is actually a very interesting book, I read it a year or so ago. Interesting thing is that it shows the strengths and weaknesses of men AND women, strangely you seem to only have picked out the mens weaknesses !!! I'd recommend it to anyone though - very good. Paul |

Glad you liked the book Paul. Of course as a woman I would pick out mens faults. Really not their fault really, just they have a different brain! Sylvia xxx |

As my mum used to say, women have many faults, men have only two, everything they say, and everything they do! nell |

Perhaps the men on here could explain why some time ago my husband asked me where his socks were? Only in the same drawer for some fifteen years! Ann |

Ann, your husband should read this book too. It certainly opened up my husband's eyes to his faults. Sylvia xxx |

I shall see if I can get it - if nothing else I could always bash him with it! He always wants to know why I can recall events which took place years ago - word by word! May be book will explain it to him. Ann |
