Some virus thingy has got me!!

I am MOST flaming indignant - I pay a fortune for firewall protection and stuff and the latest check shows THREE little blighters have snuck in!! I am a computer idiot - how do I fix this?

Run your virus scan and kill them I have Trojan guarder Golden Version on mine so I don't get any on mine

Wendy run virus scan but put it in safe mode whilst you do it! Reboot and whilst it is loading keep tapping on F8 on the top line until it gives you options chose safe mode and then run your antivirus should shift it then, when it is gone reeboot again and come back on normally. Davex

I'm fixed!! Thanks to you lovely people for your help. I followed Dave's instructions and no virus was found - I've since been told that it must have been a page I had open at the time that had a virus but my machine is safe. I never realised I was supposed to delete files on a regular basis - it took my computer 6 and a half hours to scan - I have learned now though!! (please don't laugh xx)
