As some of you know my mom has not spoken to me in 4 years, I have tried to put things right so often, but to no avail, but she found out about Kev having his heart attack, and has contacted me to offer support, her and her husband are coming round this afternoon to visit, so at least some good has come out of this very frightening time. Bev I think we could all do with some good news, and as so many of you have supported me through the doom and gloom, I wanted to share some good news, Kev will be coming home some time between 10 and noon today, as we have both been smokers, I am in the process of cleaning the house up of smoking things & smells, all the ashtrays have been removed, curtains down washed and have got to put them back up, now to dust & polish, and hoover up, then spray some nutraliser round, I don't want any temptation round him, this is going to be hard as Kev was a very heavy smoker. Bev, What good news on both fronts. I was a heavy smoker for more years than your husband has been born and I gave up. It will be hard for him but after the trauma of the last week I am sure he will do it. Hope things go well with your Mum. I will be thinking of you all today. Jean x. |

Hi folks, the visit went well, and for a change she listened, usually when you have problems, she talks over you with her problems, but not this time, my brother came as well, so it was hectic, but worth it, Kev has gone for a rest now, it was a bit much for him as he has only just got out of hospital and missed his normal rest period.
