Hi Sue. At the moment, its 9:30 am Wed. on the East Coast of Oz. And its 7:30 am on the West Coast of Oz. Tony Oz ( on the East Coast )

Time and date shows on your computer - go to Start, Settings, Control Panel and Time/Date you can then cursor through each time zone till you reach the Aussie one that you want.

its ok ! i got through , just finished speaking to ann , many thanks everyone. was a long and much needed conversation. it was her birthday- so she had already booked the day off work- [she lives in nsw] ! ... what is the cheapest flight [return] australia to england ? any one know ? my mum in law [ ann in australias mum] has died today . ann is wondering about coming over- but she seems to think it is about $4000 - anyone know if this is right. any advice appreciated, many thanks, sue.

Well Sue I have just done some stuff on the web but NSW has too many Airports for a proper price to be quoted. Tomorrow if she can't check you can if you can find the nearest Airport to here you can get it sorted. Sorry to hear about your M.I.L. Do a proper search and you will get airport - airport price. At the moment we can do NZ-UK-NZ for about$NZ2500 (via Sydney on Thai Airways - next best is Emirates. If you book ahead (which you obviously can't do in this case) it is about $2000 Peter
