I'd wait a year if my experience is anything to go by. They never really leave. Only last weekend my youngest and his son begged beds for the night. |

Don't count your chickens Bev! LOL My two eldest both left home and then came back - daughter brought her new partner with her (left the ex in the flat they had shared) and stayed for almost 3 years - and had a baby! Now younger daughter (single parent, one 6 year old son) is really struggling trying to pay her bills in her house and keeps saying 'When I come home.....' Quick---- change the locks ---NOW LOL Sue xx |

Bev, you could always do what someone I know did. And no it wasnt me. When her children left home she moved into a two bedroomed house and knocked the bedrooms into one big one, so that there wasnt a spare room for anyone to come home to. |

stop it you are scaring me thats it, they have gone, of course they can visit, but i am already 'doing out' the dressing room and revamping the 'spare room' ready for guests. i have their keys, cheaper than changing locks! they can't possibly come back i have just spent 200 quid on new duvets/pillows/curtains/paint/and throws Bev getting worried now |
