2 of my closest friends (my ex's sister and husband) are having a BBQ today and haven't invited me because they're worried it might upset the ex's new girlfriend!

Bec, Just take it that your own company is better than there's anyway and you will probably have a more interesting conversation talking to yourself. Sometimes you know you can be in a crowd and still be bored stiff, but it is nice to be asked. June xx

June - you're right. It just hurts. Am really fed up of most of the people in my life disregarding my feelings and walking all over me! Bec If you're nice to everyone they think you won't mind. If you are a moody stroppy cow people try to keep in with you. Don't know why this should be, but it's true. In the playground at my school, children only want to play with the ones that are difficult and don't want to be their friend! Console yourself - its too hot for a BBQ. Have some nice chilled drinks and watch something good on tv. nell

Helen - Thanks for replying. I am nearing the point of dropping my 'nice girl' attitude and just letting it all out! All I do is give, everyone takes and I'm left with nothing, and it's tiring me out! So maybe it's time for me to stop making an effort with everyone! becx
