that eating red and processed meat twice a day can increase your chances of bowel cancer!! Scared the life out of me but then realised I eat meat about once a week other than the compulsory bacon sarnie!! Please be careful out there!

They have been researching the possible link for 10 years and today they have published their findings which prove a link. A spokesman for Cancer Research UK suggested moderation rather than elimination and there are guidelines available about daily intake. Daisy

They've spent ten years & goodness knows how much money to tell us what anyone with any common sense knows. We need a good balanced diet. Vivienne

Research shows that lots of people get cancer. It is a very common illness. At least half the death certs I have for my ancestors have cancer as a cause. Eating too much of one kind of food is bad for you. Eating lots of different foods in moderation is probably good for you. One day you will have to die of something, no matter how much exercise you do, or what you eat, or where you live. No need to go mad because of another report - unless you already have mad cow disease from eating too much red meat!!! nell
