buy a cake mix from asda, add water, bake for ten mins... hey presto! xx

Basic Victoria Sponge Cake or Buns 4oz Flour 4oz marg 4oz sugar 2 eggs put all in a bowl and whisk til light in colour. put in bun tins and cook for 20 mins gas 5 - 375f - 190c or put in 2 x 7 inch sandwich tins and bake for 20-25 mins gas 4- 350f - 180c Tins should be greased and floured Cooked when top springs back when lightly pressed Sandwich together with jam/cream and decorate any way you wish when cooled. There you are can't get much easier than that

Two tips Lisa Whisk it until it is quite light in colour And this applies to all cakes........don't open the oven door too often and close it gently or that will make it fall in the middle. But you do need to check to see if the tins need turning after around ten minutes so cake not cooking one side more than other. Good luck
