Not you again! Do you ever have anything nice to say or are you always spoiling for an argument? Maybe you should take a bit of your own advice and get a life!

Hi Poirot, if you don't like football then don't watch it. There is a simple way of doing this....either switch channels or turn your tv off and do something else. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean to say you can tell other people what to do. And for the record I don't like footie either but I don't go spoiling the fans fun Sarah, xxx

I'm convinced he does Deb. If he hates everything about the city he lives in then why doesn't he move? - But not to Yorkshire thankyou! lol

Snap Bryan - I put that on another thread - I bought my son a T-shirt with it on it - still available at Past Times. The boys did well tonight. I do not like sport of any kind but my son is a Liverpool supporter since he was 3 yrs and my husband is a golfer and there is usually a golf tournament being played somewhere in the world and broadcast on Sky and I don't begrudge their enjoyment. Each to his, or her, own, so they say. If you don't like football, then do as someone else suggested and turn the TV over and watch something else (plenty of choice nowadays, so you've no excuse), or switch off and go do something you enjoy instead of whinging about it. Personally, I love watching football! I wasn't always a fan, but my hubby's been a ManU supporter for 40 years, boy and man, through good times and bad, so I grew to love the game over the years. My two sons and my daughter all support ManU too, as does my daughter's partner, and needless to say my grandchildren, the lads anyway, are getting there fast (not that they have a choice - kid channels are banned when the football is on!). I watched the game tonight, and I was on the edge of my seat from the moment Liverpool scored their first goal. I'm really glad they won, they deserved it for the way they just dug in and got on with in, in spite of being almost dead and buried by half-time. They've done us English proud! Carole
