Hello Ann - I know nothing about computers or what this may do to any other site you might be looking at at the same time - but as a temporary measure while you are on GR - you could turn off the adverts and then put them back on again if it does muck up anything else you want to look at. Go to 'Tools' on your Tool Bar at the top of your screen - select 'Manage Add ons' and click on 'Shockwave Flash Object'....you then get the option to disable it by clicking in a circle. It may help - but I really am not sure this is the proper thing to do. Done it with mine to try it for you - and it stops the ads and it starts again when you 'enable' it afterwards - so worth a try?? Magsxx

I had to reinstate what Tony had done because it also disabled my photo programme. I havve now followed Mags advice and have got rid of the one on the side but still have the one actross the top. It also keeps flashing up a message saying this page want to use something that is disabled!! Ann Glos
