A 17 year old girl who was missing in the next village has been found dead in woods 2.5 miles from us. Her parents had put posters up all over the place to try and find her after she went missing on Wednesday morning. Every parent's nightmare.

It is indeed every parents nightmare. My thoughts go out to this poor girls family and friends. And to all those who have lost someone suddenly when their life has been cut short too soon. Elaine x

Hi Wendy I also live quite nearby and didn't know the girl was missing until I saw the posters yesterday. Just heard on the local news that the police say it isn't suspicious. Tragic for the family concerned whatever the circumstances. I can't begin to imagine what they must be going through. Jenny
